Today, a new Towne Lake real estate team was announced at Prudential Georgia Realty. Beth Campbell and Peter den Boer announced the formation of The Community Realty Group, a team dedicated to providing neighborhood information along with real estate services. Both long time residents of the Towne Lake area, these agents began collaborating about 6 months ago and launched TowneLakeRealEstate.com, a website devoted to the Towne Lake area. On this website can be found a business directory, listings of all Towne lake Restaurants, community home searches, community video clips, and much more on the individual communities that make up Towne Lake. These agents are devoted to bringing state-of-the-art technology to the area sellers including full motion narrated video, mobile texting, and many more technologies for todays buyers and sellers. Watch for the community newsletters being distributed throughout the community which gives data on recent home sales as well as tips and information about Towne Lake. The motto for this new team is, “It’s not just Real Estate…It’s a community!”

It has happened! I finally decided to work with another agent, Beth Campbell, in my office, not as a team but in a collaboration that is new and exciting. I bring the technology to the party and Beth brings the word phrasing and great ideas. Together we feel as though we have a lot to offer to the Towne lake area, and this new website is just the ticket to prove it!
This new site will allow you to see what is happening in the various neighborhoods, check out the rental section as well as Restaurant guide and business directory. If you see something that you would like to have on the site, drop me an email and let me know.

I just listed this home in the Bethany Moorings subdivision in Jasper Georgia. What makes this home so neat is the full in-law suite in the daylight basement. Often called the silent killer, carbon monoxide is an invisible, odorless, colorless gas created when fuels (such as gasoli ne, wood, coal, natural gas, propane, oil, and methane) burn incompletely. In the home, heating and cooking equipment that burn fuel are potential sources of carbon monoxide. CO alarms safety tips:
CO alarms should be installed in a central location outside each sleeping area and on every level of the home and in other locations where required by applicable laws, codes or standards. For the best protection, interconnect all CO alarms throughout the home. When one sounds, they all sound.
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for placement and mounting height.
Choose a CO alarm that has the label of a recognized testing laboratory.

There is a place in Cherokee county, tucked between horse farms and million dollar homes. This place is Lenore Place. 2 finished homes and 3 buildable lots, this intimate community is surrounded by nature. I was just there this past weekend and I could hear the frogs croaking and the birds calling. 104 Lenore is one of the two homes built on this property. Filled with architectural florishes one would normally find in much more expensive homes, this one is a delight to walk through. Take a look at this movie and let me know what you think. As a side note, I am using the Viddler player on this movie. Let me know how you like it!

Fox Creek is a Townhome community with Tennis and Pool amenities located just south of Sixes Road in Cherokee county, and off of Highway 5. I could not believe it! Home Videos like I have been doing for over a year now finally hit the main stream! Good Morning America ran a story about Realtors who use videos in selling homes. I thought this was great so I have a link for you to follow to read this short story. Believe it or not I just saw 70 some people all move at the same time to the same place with only a small amount of Chaos!! Yes, we moved our Prudential office today. We moved from high on the hill down to street level where potential clients may even have a chance to see us. The move really took 3 days of dilligent work by the office staff. When we came in this morning, they stared at us through bloodshot eyes and almost dared us to ask a question. Everyone this morning is buzzing happily about their new “digs” and everyone is bouncing around the office trying to see who is sitting where and judging their importance by nearness to the bathroom or kitchenette.
It is a humbling experience. I forgot how much I hate to move. However, it is a refreshing glimpse into the minds of the clients we help buy and sell homes. They go through the same chaos. It is good to remember what they are going through and will refresh our ability to commiserate with them.
Looking to move anytime soon? Call me. I can help with the buy/sale, and now with the anxiety too.
