310 North Brooke Drive

This home is located in The Estates at Brooke Park and it is a stunning home! Clean and neat, this home has a terrific updated kitchen and a great overall look and feel. My guess is that this home probably will sell relatively quickly.

I am excited to show this video, made with my new panasonic professional Video HD camera. The second home I have videoed with this camera, but the first one where I pulled out all my movie lights as well. I think I may have missed my calling!

Take a look at this one and let me know what you think. See if you can tell where the lights were used. This video expands our use of cutaways to my partner, Beth Campbell and I think it is pretty cool. It makes for a bear to edit though…

Watch, enjoy, and report back to me what you think!

329 North Brooke Drive

This home is owned by good friends of mine and they have just put it up for sale this past week. What a cool home! This home was custom built on one of the highest lots in the Estates at Brooke Park and they have a great view off their back deck of the North Georgia Mountains. They have hosted our North georgia Referral Network Christmas party twice in the past several years and the home is always decorated to the hilt! You can see the home up on the hill a mile away when all the lights are on!

This video is the first on with my new Panasonic professional HD video camera. The clarity is outstanding and I could not have picked a better home to use it on first. Please watch the video and let me know what you think. It is also the first one where my partner, Beth Campbell, appears on screen. My new wireless Lavalier microphone system made it a snap! Watch and let me know what you think, please!

Prudential on TV!

Prudential Georgia Realty is a pretty cool, technology driven company. I don’t think I have seen any other Real estate companies that produce their own TV channel! Take a look at the link below and let me know what you think.

Co2 Alarm info

Thanks to Brodie Brown, Home Inspector and owner of Browntree Home Inspections,

Although the popularity of carbon monoxide (CO) alarms has been growing in recent years, it cannot be assumed that everyone is familiar with the hazards of carbon monoxide poisoning in the home.

Often called the silent killer, carbon monoxide is an invisible, odorless, colorless gas created when fuels (such as gasoli ne, wood, coal, natural gas, propane, oil, and methane) burn incompletely. In the home, heating and cooking equipment that burn fuel are potential sources of carbon monoxide. Vehicles or generators running in an attached garage can also produce dangerous levels of carbon monoxide.

CO alarms safety tips:

CO alarms should be installed in a central location outside each sleeping area and on every level of the home and in other locations where required by applicable laws, codes or standards. For the best protection, interconnect all CO alarms throughout the home. When one sounds, they all sound.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for placement and mounting height.

Choose a CO alarm that has the label of a recognized testing laboratory.

Audio and Video Tools

I have dusted off the “Talking House” transmitters in my basement and have started using them in my listings. These AM Transmitters allow me to walk potential buyers through the home while they sit in their cars outside the home. This is particularly useful in bad weather, in the evenings, and for people just driving a neighborhood without a Realtor. These transmitters plus the solar lights I use on my signs effectively extend my showing time during the day to 24 hours!

I am also getting ready to roll out a service that will allow people to view a digital movie of the home directly to their PDA while they sit outside the home. Yet another way to get potential buyers interested in the home. The link below is part of the soundtrack I have produced for the Talking House program. It starts with the outro, goes to the intro, and then to the home info. Ths causes the message to wrap around or appear to have a beginning, middle and end when it is listened to. Listen and let me know what you think. Oh by the way, it takes a few minutes to download, so have patience!
